Arthroscopy is a keyhole surgical procedure performed to treat the disorders in joint. This is performed to both treating as well as diagnosing the problem. This involves the use of device called arthroscope. Arthroscopy is usually performed in shoulder, knee, ankle, elbow, hip and wrist. The supreme advantage of this surgical procedure is that it creates only a few number of cuts in the body to carry out the entire surgery and so the recovery time from after the surgery is of short duration.
