TFCC Cushion Damage
This tissue is like a disc between the forearm bone and tiny wrist bones. It also links the two long bones of forearm at wrist. Injuries to TFCC is common following sudden twist or loading to wrist joint. Conditions like rheumatoid, increased uric acid level can also cause pain in TFCC region
Most of the times the damage is minor and responds to conservative management
If the injury is significant as confirmed by MRI scan, repair or cleaning of the tissue by key hole surgery is recommended
